So Sweet Those Lips

Thanks to Marisa Thorson for a fantastic job sharing with Shawn Portman about our Bath in a Bag project. Shawn has generously donated 500 lip balms for our families at Mary Bridge. Shawn has contributed so many times for the good of the community and we’re grateful for his gift of Caring and Love. You may reach Shawn at shawn.portman@benchmark.us

Howard Johnson's Cares

My business partner Jim Sagona, of John L. Scott Real Estate in Puyallup, contacted Richard Kumar and shared our Bath in a Bag Project. Without hesitation Mr. Kumar agreed he wanted to participate in the community to benefit the families we are serving. A special thanks for a donation of 400 soaps, shampoos, lotions and tooth brushes from Mr. Kumar and Howard Johnson's in Fife. Mr. Kumar’s General Manager, Amy Hartman was also of great help in fulfilling the donation. Its through the participation and generosity of individuals like Richard and Amy and local businesses like Howard Johnson's in Fife that our intention for fulfillment of the Bath in a Bag project will be a great success.

Keep the Smiles Comming

Wow, a fantastic donation was received by the request of Doug and Sue Walker and the fantastic generosity of Kris and Karen Overby (Kris is the Dentist). Their donation put us over the top with dental supplies for our entire project. 500 tooth brushes, dental flosses and tooth pastes. There is going to be a lot of teeth cleaning going on at the hospital. Dr Overby's practice is Dupont Dental 253-912-4443; give him a full smile from us at Bath in a Bag when you see him.

No Chapped Lips

Sherley Ellis of Response Mortgage has donated 50 lip balms for our parents pleasure. The hospital staff recomended highly for us to include this item as the hospital environment is dry and everyone greatly appreciates the comfort of lip balm. You can visit shirley at www.shirleye@responseloans.com .

Bag Packing Machine

Special thanks to my lovely wife Jenny Morelli for her night time focus to get the Bags packaged and sorted. She has put together almost 200 so far (I tied the bow knots). Her efforts will help alleviate a great deal of work in the final weeks prior to delivery to the hospital. You may contact Jenny at www.johnlscott.com/jennym
